Will other Better Work factory operations and/or timelines change?
No. To promote sustainable improvements, social dialogue and transparency, Better Work will maintain its existing factory service model including training, advisory, public reporting and differentiation, and follow existing timelines for delivery of those services. Assessment findings will continue to be reflected in factory improvement plans and linked to advisory and training services
Better Work will continue to use the bipartite worker-management committees to oversee improvement plans and remediation issues and continue to follow existing protocols agreed with national constituents (e.g. the reporting of zero tolerance issues and persistently non-compliant factories to the labour inspectorate).
